Playbook: the shelf is empty and nothing is on order

The situation

Signal Controller sits at 0 units against a reorder point of 5. No purchase order covers it. The reorder rule that should have raised one did not, and the alert that followed was ignored. Customers can still order it; the first sign will be a backorder.

On the selling side, Bulk Fastener Pack has nothing available to promise against a reorder point of 10, with nothing incoming.

Before you start

The check needs a reorder point on the product or material. Items without one are never "below" it.
A draft needs the item's supplier. Items without one appear as *Material without supplier* instead.

Step 1 — See every empty shelf with nothing coming

Open Inventory → Integrity and open the finding Below reorder point, no PO.

What you see: the item, 0 on hand, reorder point 5, lead time 1 day, about 597 at risk, the possible causes (a reorder rule that did not trigger, a purchase not yet placed) and What to do: create a purchase order now.

Step 2 — Draft the purchase order

Under Fix, choose Create draft PO, check the preview and confirm.

What happens: Otiox drafts PO-AUTO-1875DA to MetalCo GmbH, the item's supplier, for 10 units at the supplier price, expected on 6 November from the lead time. It is a draft: nothing reaches the supplier until someone chooses Send to Supplier.

Step 3 — Catch it before a promise breaks

Open Predictive insights and the ATP shortfall card.

What you see: Bulk Fastener Pack, available to promise 0 against a reorder point of 10, nothing reserved, nothing incoming, and the same Create draft PO button. The label *Built on flagged data* means an integrity finding on the same item should be checked first.

After

The draft counts as incoming only once it is sent; send it, and the next scan closes the finding.
If a draft is not sent for days, *Draft PO not sent* flags it, so it cannot be forgotten either.

What you have at the end

Every item at or below its reorder point with nothing coming, on one list.
The purchase already drafted, to the right supplier.
Warnings before the customer order, not after.
